Our Background
Alemye exists of 500 experienced local employees who had intensive training on all agricultural practices in ten greenhouses. The farm is located at 2.400 meters above sea level in Holeta, 50 km from Addis Ababa Airport. The farm currently has 1 million strawberry plants, which produce almost 1.5 tons of fresh strawberries daily. They produce the highest quality crops, by using beneficial insects instead of insecticides and pesticides for example. In this way they guarantee chemical free products. The project is export oriented and has two major global certificates (GLOBALG.A.P., BRC).

As strawberry products are too rare in Ethiopia the people’s culture of using it is very poor. So that people are not getting the most important health significance's of strawberry. But nowadays to resolve this problems our company is working hard to improve the production with a high and dramatically growing system of assembly.
In addition to this compared to the comfort ability of the country’s climate for strawberry production it should obtain more money from the sector and contribute for the growth domestic product of the country.

The problem of chemical most fruits is because they are grown with chemical. But in our priorities are our customers and we offer you a product free from another side effect.

Always customers complain the freshness of fruits. You know why? It is because the location of the company is not suitable for transportation and the product can’t arrive on time.

Growing strawberry with the most protected and recommended area with export standard. And exporting it by following the process of safe transportation advisable for strawberry products which help us to keep it more healthier and appropriate for our customers.
PACKAGING AND EXPORTING OTHER FRUITS
We pack fruits with standardized packaging method and quality packets so that the fruits stay fresh and safe for long time.
MANAGING OTHER FARMS
Because we are not only working business and focus on improving the production of strawberry, we are creating other competitors. We give advice for the new company’s working in fruit production.
